Canon G11 Due October 2009 – Great Pedigree

I was only playing with my friend’s G10 last week, when I got word via CrunchGear that the Canon is only a couple of weeks away!

Very impressed with the images that the was able to produce so can’t wait for the G11!

Been a big fan of Canon’s G series – I even still have a G3 at home somewhere :)

Main Features of the :

  • 10.0MP (strangely low, right?)
  • 5x optical zoom – 28-140 mm
  • 2.8-inch vari-angle PureColor System LCD
  • RAW shooting mode
  • HDMI out
  • No HD video recording mode

i personally feel that sony cybershot is quiet good than cannon.

Few months back I went to a shopping center to buy a digicam .. there were many brands out of which are Canon, sony , olmpus, Panasonic and may other brands .. what we did was that we took the same picture from different camera’s to check the clearity and picture quality of the Camera .. I was sure on Sony Cybershot, that for sure it would be the best .. but when we checked the picture quality .. it was Canon who won the race .. the best quality in all of them was of canon .. and its video qaulity as well is very good .. without giving it a second thought we bought that camera .. For Camera ..I would always prefer Canon .

I may as well get a Panasonic TZ camera for the 9+ optical zoom, 10mp I think it was, good photos, and 720p recording. And it’s smaller which is a plus. :P
