Windows Mobile 7 Might Be Seen Later This 2008

Maybe there’s a reason why Windows Mobile 7 was shown in passing on the Live Mesh video. You see, while we’re all expecting to see the mobile platform next year, evidence suggests otherwise. A device manufacturer called MWg has recently announced the list of gadgets to be unveiled this year. Among them is a multimedia device called Flame II which will be released on the fourth quarter of 2008, and which (as you can clearly see on the picture) will run on Windows Mobile 7.

We still don’t know much about Windows Mobile 7 aside from the leaked rumours about the platform relying heavily on touch screen and gesture capabilities. If we do, indeed, see the Flame II later this 2008, I reckon we don’t have to rely on rumours about the Windows Mobile 7 for long.
