At last the BlackBerry Storm’s officially arriving in Australia come December 1, 2008. And, in accordance to the imminent release date, Vodafone announced the pricing plans associated with the device. The Storm will be offered free on Vodafone’s Internet Data Cap plans.
The 24-month contract will cost $69 per month but, although it’s supposed to be an unlimited plan, you got to read the fine print or else you’ll end up paying extra. The “unlimited” data plan only stands if you browse using the BlackBerry browser – downloading files, streaming videos, and perhaps browsing using other web browsers will $0.50 per megabyte. If you still want to buy the Storm, head on over to the reservation page to get an 8GB microSD card free. But, if you’re still undecided, check out the video above and see for yourself.
