To confirm earlier news that the BlackBerry Storm would arrive in Australia on Vodafone, the telco put up a page dedicated to RIM’s first full-faced touch screen handset.
Vodafone would be bringing the BlackBerry Storm to the UK, Germany, and New Zealand as well. As expected, Australia will get the BlackBerry Storm 9500 (quad-band GSM/2100Mhz UMTS) version that’s meant for the Vodafone network. The BlackBerry Storm page on the Vodafone Australia site is registration page for early notification about the availability of the device in the region. According to the page, the number of handsets to be sold would be limited (though we don’t know if that’s just a marketing ploy), so if you’re interested in the Storm, head on over to register and get first notice of its availability.
