The ASUS Galaxy 7 full-faced touch screen smartphone had an “unidentified phone” status for a long time. Sometime last September, rumors came out that it was going to be officially launched on October, but sadly, it never happened. Thanks to Mobile-Review though, we now have a clear picture of what it’s all about.
The ASUS Galaxy 7 has a 3.5-inch WVGA touch screen display and an HSDPA connection. It runs on Microsoft WM 6.1 Professional and uses ASUS’ Glide 1.5 user interface. According to a review by M-R, the device measures something the iPhone and the HTC Max 4G, has a 5megapixel camera, but is stripped of the 800 MHz the Asus P565 has and is equipped with the 528 Mhz Qualcom MS7200A processor instead. Glide interface also has evolved to be similar to HTC’s TouchFlo3D.
