When the iPod Touch was first revealed, all I ever heard from people was that it was a stripped-down version of the iPhone. Since first released, a lot of apps that turned the iPod into an almost-phone already came into the picture. A new entry is TruPhone.
If you remember, we talked about TruPhone here in Mr. Gadget once when the company released TruPhone for the BlackBerry. TruPhone lets you use your iPod Touch into a phone and talk to people over the in the internet. For now, you can use it to talk to others using TruPhone in their iPod Touch, and others using Google Talk. In the near future though, TruPhone for the iPod Touch will let you make and receive calls from landline and cell phone numbers and even through Skype or MSN.
