The Samsung F480 Tocco is a high-end Samsung full-faced touchscreen device with a 2.8-inch TFT display. The review found the glossy screen and the metal backside attractive, but upon testing, the whole device turned out to be a fingerprint magnet.
While the touchscreen panel is responsive and sensitive, the device doesn’t have an onscreen QWERTY keyboard, so those who are used to smartphones would have a hard time adjusting to an alphanumeric keypad. The 5MP camera was also found decent albeit not on par with standalone digital cameras (no surprise there), and the music player also performed well. It seems the reviewer found the web browser the more favorable feature of the phone since it fits pages well on screen. Unfortunately, there’s no landscape mode to view web pages horizontally. Finally, while the Samsung F480 Tocco’s HSPA connection seems to work quite well, there’s also the lack of WiFi, which is quite disappointing.
