Toshiba is reportedly releasing its new smartphone by June 20, 2008—in Asia and Europe at least. The Toshiba Portégé G810 smartphone runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional which supports both HSDPA and HSUPA.
A setback, perhaps, is the small 2.83-inch QVGA screen and those keys occupying considerable space at the bottom of the phone. However, I must admit, it’s great to see something that doesn’t look almost identical to the iPhone. Toshiba Portégé G810 sports a 400MHz Qualcomm CPU and has a 3-megapixel camera, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS and a-GPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g, FM radio, and up a microSD card slot for cards up to 4GB in capacity.
