New additions to the TomTom GO range of GPS devices are the TomTom GO 730 and TomTom GO 930. These new devices are installed with TomTom’s Advanced Lane Guidance, Voice Address Input, and the brand’s new trademarked IQ Routes technology.
TomTom’s IQ Routes technology is a system that uses real data of average speeds on the roads of Australia as opposed to just uses max speeds allowed. The system measures all possible routes you can take from point A to point B and gives you the one that would take least time to drive through. Advanced Lane Guidance, on the other hand, gives users enhanced visual instructions while Voice Address Input lets you just speak out the Aussie city and street name you want to go to. The TomTom GO 930, by the way, is equipped with world maps, in case you take it on a trip across the pond, and even comes with a Bluetooth remote control.
The TomTom GO 730 and the TomTom GO 930 will be available in Australia by November, 2008 for AU$549 and $849 respectively.
