Motorola adds three new phones into its ROKR line—the EM25, EM28, and EM30. MOTOROKR EM30 is a candybar phone which uses Motorola’s ModeShift technology: that is keypad illumination is red when you’re using it as a media player, and blue when it’s on phone mode.
MOTOROKR EM28 on the other hand is a clamshell phone which uses touch-sensitive music keys that disappear when they’re not needed. The external screen shows the name of the song and the artist so you don’t have to flip the phone open to check a song’s info out. The phone rocks sonic features which gives music a 3D sound effect. Finally, MOTOROKR EM25 is a slider phone with a dedicated music key for simple access to your stored music. It also has FMShare feature which lets you chare your favorite FM station with friends by sending them a text message about it.
So there you go; three new music phones which aren’t really anything hard-hitting, but might tickle your fancy. EM30’s hitting Taiwan this quarter first (and then subsequently, other markets), while EM25 and EM28 will be available around the globe by the end of this quarter.
