After the long, painful, and grueling wait, the 3G Apple iPhone has allegedly arrived in Australian shores. The proof? A nice piece of, errr, box. But it’s not just ANY box—if you haven’t noticed, the Apple logo indicates that this is a very, very important good.
According to MacTalk, “a very reliable source” who (for fear of being assassinated by Apples ninjas) does not wish to be named, resellers across the country have already received similar packages. The box is big enough to carry just one promotional copy of the (if we guess right) 3G iPhone, since shipments would reportedly arrive before June 19, which is the purported release date of the product in Australia. If you might have noticed, the date on the box is June 10, matching the June 9 American date and time of the WWDC. I’m mentally ripping off that tape and clawing my way inside that box right now. So if you’d excuse me, I’m off daydreaming about what the elusive (at least until June 9) 3G iPhone looks like.
