I’m admittedly not interested in sports, so the only part of the Olympics I watched is the opening—and wow, what an opening that was! I was lucky enough to have watched it on TV, but some might have been expecting to stream the Olympics on Telstra’s NextG network. Unfortunately for iPhone 3G users, you won’t be able to at all.
The oodles of new iPhone 3G users on the NextG network are apparently left out on Telstra’s streaming service of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. To be fair to Telstra, they did say (on fineprint) that the service didn’t work for all of NextG’s handsets, but still, you’d think it won’t exclude the iPhone 3G, you know, that phone people fought tooth and nail for recently?
