Telstra Wireless Broadband
Good news for Telstra users, it seems the company took a look at its own wireless broadband plans and decided to rework it. Of course, as Gizmodo AU mentioned, Telstra is still playing coy and not mixing in with the bunch, but it’s still good news for Telstra subscribers, nonetheless.
Starting August 24, 2008, Sunday, Telstra is implementing the new wireless broadband data plans. It’s also scrapping any of the old plans based on speed and condensing everything into the plans you see above. Source would like to point out that 3 offers a 1GB plan for $15, but Telstra’s 1GB plan is priced at $59.95. Customers with multiple Telstra subscriptions though get half the price for the first 12 months of a 2-year contract. Additional usage charge, by the way, is $0.25 per MB.
