Announced last July, the Sony NWZ-B130F Walkman player will be sold in Australia and around Asia-Pacific starting this August 2008. The simple, no-frill MP3 player is available in 1GB to 2GB capacities.
The Sony NWZ-B130F Walkman features an OLED screen, FM radio with recording functionality, drag and drop music interface, voice recording, and LED power illuminator which flashes to the beat of the music. The illuminator also indicates what mode you’re using (either recording or bass, which enhances the bass element of the music), or if the device is currently charging. What I like most about it though, is that it has Sony’s Quick Charge function that gives users 90 minutes of playback for just three minutes’ of charging (maximum playback time is 16 hours).
The Sony NWZ-B130F Walkman MP3 player is priced in Australia at AU$49 and $69 at 1GB and 2GB versions respectively.
