The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 is long-delayed. We’ve been waiting for it for quite a while now and questions about the handset are only piling up. Luckily, the folks over at Tracy & Matt’s got a hands-on review of the final retail version and answered a lot of what you might be curious about the XPERIA X1.
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 is a slide-out touch screen phone, as you all know, with a 3.2-megapixel camera. It has 137MB free memory available with Windows Mobile running in the background, no motion sensor, and exhibits varying times of rotation from portrait to landscape image and vice versa depending on the panel you have open. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 uses MSM7200 processor while the HTC Touch Pro uses MSM7201A (both handsets are manufactured by HTC) although there’s no discernible difference upon first look. The sound quality of the audio player is really good that the reviewer even compares it to the Sony Walkman MP3 player.
