Sony Ericsson Launches XPERIA X1 Developer’s Challenge

We all know Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X1‘s user interface is proprietary-based and tweaked for the handset. Of course we haven’t seen it up close yet, thanks to the phone’s much-delayed launch. But to celebrate its upcoming release (finally!), Sony Ericsson put up a developers’ challenge for it.

If you are enamored enough by the videos and pics of the XPERIA X1′s UI and fancy yourself a developer, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Developers’ Challenge will commence on November 14. The contest? To find the most creative way to implement the handset’s user interface. Great! Fantastic, right? Yup, you just gotta get used to the fact that the prize isn’t a few hundred grand in your hands but a shiny and new Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1. Will YOU join?
