Sony Ericsson Kate Is Now C510

The Kate is one of those Sony Ericsson phones that got previewed even before it’s announced. Now officially called the Sony Ericsson C510, it’s the brand’s newest Cyber-shot phone model to be released in the near future.

The Sony Ericsson C510 is a low-spec phone that presents a stark contrast against the high-end, feature-rich Sony Ericsson C905. It’s candybar phone with a 2.2-inch QVGA display and a rather disappointing 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus. Nevertheless, the low-end specs mean low-end prices, so it has its own audience. Other specs include a smile shutter, Face detection, photo fix, BestPic, a photo and video light, and a120 Mb in-built memory and M2 card slot.
