The anticipated Sony Ericsson G705 was now formally announced by the company, and it’s looking mighty fierce. The slider phone boasts 3G connection which I’m sure people would enjoy using on a full HTML browser.
Looking at the Sony Ericsson G705’s stats, it’s easy to see that it’s geared towards mobile computing. Aside from the 3G connection and the full HTML browser, it also has WiFi connection, email support, and RSS feeds sent directly to the phone’s desktop. There’s even a shortcut key for Google search. And, since Sony Ericsson’s partnering with Google on their new phones, the G705 will be YouTube compatible, allowing users to download and upload videos from the web site directly to their phones. Other specs of the handset include a 2.4-inch screen, 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth with A2DP support, and automatic rotation of screen from portrait to landscape view. The Sony Ericsson G705 will start shipping on the first quarter of 2009.
