A Sennheiser first! The Sennheiser MXW1 is Sennheiser’s first portable and completely wireless stereo earphone system. It features two separate (left & right) earphones, transmitter and carry case with integrated charger. The Sennheiser MX W1 offers uncompressed digital wireless connection and delivers excellent high-fidelity stereo sound, letting you enjoy your favourite tunes without the hassle of messy cords.

Another great feature is that the Sennheiser MXW1 transmitter can transmit up to two pairs of MXW1 earphones, enabling two friends to listen to the same audio player at the same time.

I’d say more than $100 as they are Sennheisers and you usually pay good money for these top of the range headsets.

I heard on Tekzilla that these headphones are going to be $599 in the US and are due in May this year.

G’day Glenn, yup heard something like “ridiculously expensive”…

I like the concept of wireless headphones but unless they have far superior battery life than many of today’s pairs, they’re still impractical for long overseas trips.

Wow, $599. That is a big difference from what you said of the around $100 - $200 mark you set out. Unless I misunderstood you. And isnt $599 just a bit too much for earphones, even if wireless. As wireless headphones are only around $50 to $100.

But isn’t earphones suppose to be cheaper? Or is it because it is a new technology therefore more than double the price?
