The minuscule Sansa Clip have always had a storage capacity limited to only 4GB, but now the small digital audio player comes loaded with 8GB of memory. That kind of storage could store around 4,000 tracks, with the device’s battery able to last 15 hours of straight playtime.
In spite of the spike in storage, the Sansa Clip still looks the same as the older version. Since you’d need to be able to browse your files to choose the track you’re playing (considering 8GB is a considerable capacity), the Sansa Clip has a small OLED display unlike the iPod Shuffle. The device still has integrated FM tuner, built-in microphone for recording, and comes with earphones and a USB cable for connection to a computer. The 8GB Sansa Clip MP3 player is now available in the USA for US$99 per.
