Joining the ranks of Samsung’s many, many low-end phones are the candybar models Samsung E1410 and E1117. They’re very simple, very basic candybar handsets that could prove to be a big seller in developing countries.
First up is the Samsung E1410 with a 1.63 inch display, 4MB of internal memory and dual band GSM connectivity. The phone is pictured above and as you can see, looks a lot like the other affordable Samsung phones. What’s great about this handset is that it has a 1000 mAh battery that can last 546 hours in standby and can withstand 11.5 hours of talk time. The other phone is the Samsung E1117, which is very similar to the E1410 in specs albeit a bit different when it comes to aesthetics as you can see below. No price or availability was given for both, but I’m pretty sure these won’t break bank.
