Just when you thought that you were the coolest kid in town with your 50 inch or so LCD / Plasma, out comes Samsung with it’s new 82 inch Ultra Definition LCD TV! It’s a monster!
The specs on the Samsung 82 inch are crazy:
The resolution of the UD (aka 4k x 2k) LCD Panel is 3,840×2,160px. Samsung already managed to get 120Hz technology and LED backlighting into this 82 inch UD panel.
If you’re in Los Angeles you can catch a glimpse of it at SID 2008.

Forget 82″. That’s obsolete. 150″ and up is the way to go!

Good enough for me. 
Ultra High Def is just 4x 1080p, which is what the Panasonic is. 
“just 4x 1080p”…some people prefer quality over quantity.
When manufacturers release specs on these 82″+ monster screens that incl. 4 HDMI, 2ms RT, LED & 200Hz refresh rate. Then we can talk money!
