Samsung seems to be making tons of money from its Soul handset series which can only mean one thing: the company will definitely churn out more Soul phones until the line’s novelty wears out. The latest in the line-up? It’s the Samsung S7330 Soul.
Of course, in order to provide variety and reach all possible consumers, a low to mid-end, mass market device is to be expected. Hey, if Nokia can pull it off, then why not? The Samsung S7330 Soul is sort of like a downgraded version of the original Samsung Soul U900. Its HSDPA rate has been lowered to 3.6Mbps from 7.2Mbps. Its camera resolution was also chopped off to 3.2 megapixels. It does, however, retain the 2.2 TFT display and the Magical Touch navigation pad. The handset will sell for approximately US$500 (still not low-end enough for developing countries though) next month.
