The Samsung OMNIA is another one of the most anticipated pocket PCs of the year, and it’s now hitting stores as early as next week! The Samsung OMNIA is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro device with a full-faced 3.2-inch WQVGA touch screen display and a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and smile detection.
The Samsung i900 otherwise known as OMNIA will be launched next week, July 22, in Italy. The lucky Italians who preorder the device through Media World stores in the country will also get a free Xbox 360 bundled with the OMNIA—all for US$790 (OMNIA 8GB version). Sweet deal, isn’t it? On a similar note, the phone will be launched in Germany on the first week of August but will be sold at a higher price of $1,030 and, as far as we know anyway, no freebie thrown in. The Samsung i900 OMNIA will be available all throughout Europe by the end of August; no word yet on when it’ll be available to the rest of the world.
