Samsung has formally launched a new 8-megapixel camera phone aptly called the INNOV8 (though it’s apt, it’s a tad cheesy, don’t you think?). The Samsung INNOV8 i8510 is a high-end 8MP camera phone with numerous features related to imaging.
The device has an auto-panorama mode complemented by a bright flash and equipped with not only face but also smile and blink detection. It can even capture videos at 30 frames per second. The Samsung INNOV8 i8510’s display is installed with an accelerometer so it automatically changes its display when tilted vertically or horizontally. Other features include WiFi connection, FM radio, music player, 16MB internal memory, a microSD card slot, and A-GPS. The Samsung INNOV8 i8510 handset supports 1900 and 2100 HSDPA bands and will be available first in the European market starting August.
