iPhone 2.0.1 Software
Alright iPhone 3G owners, time to do some updating on your beloved. News about it has been underway since last week, and now Apple has released the iPhone 2.0.1 firmware which, according to BGR, is quite an enormous file at 250MB.
Unfortunately, the firmware update is only to fix those bugs that’s making it a pain to use your phone and which are getting to your nerves, so don’t expect new features on your iPhone 3G yet. And yep, no copy-paste. It seems to have fixed keyboard lag problems as well as that contacts list lag issue you’ve been struggling with. Overall, it gives you a speedier OS which makes installing, surfing, and everything else faster. Go on, update now if you like, or wait until you hear news about it just to be sure.
