You can imagine my shock horror when I accidentally formatted my 4GB Sandisk Compact Flash Extreme III Memory Card that contained undownloaded photos from one of my good friends wedding last night!
Thankfully there are programs on the Internet that help you recover lost digital photos. One such program is Card Recovery by WinRecovery. After testing the program I found that it recovered 90% of my photos – files that were recently overwritten did not recover as well though. At this success rate, it’s definitely a handy piece of software to have.
