Plantronics added new Unified Communications headsets to its repertoire with the introduction of .Audio 630M USB binaural headset and .Audio 615M USB monaural headset. Both headsets are “Optimised for Microsoft Office Communicator” and promise superior audio experience for calls made through Microsoft Office Communicator 2007.

Both are wideband headsets, which means they utilize twice the conventional telephony’s audio bandwidth for enhanced voice transmission. The headsets connect to PCs via USB and, while the .Audio 615M is meant just for telephony, using the .Audio 630M headset meant you can listen to music in stereo.
The .Audio 630M USB binaural headset and .Audio 615M USB monaural headset will be available starting this October for AU$99 and AU$89 respectively.
