PicLens is a special plug-in for various web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Flock. The plug-in gives you the capacity to view enabled web sites as a dynamic wall of images rather than the usual image thumbnail lists.
In image-oriented web sites such as PhotoBucket, DeviantArt, Flickr, SmugMug, AOL Images, and Picassa Web Albums, all you have to do is press “play†which you can automatically see on the images upon mouse-over. Same is the case for image search results from Google and Yahoo and even pictures from social networking web sites like MySpace, Bebo, and FaceBook. You can even search for images which can be used to search directly for images. Once you do press play, you can see the PicLens wall of images which you can browse through, start a slideshow with, or even zoom in and out of. The new version of PicLens for Firefox adds meta data for video and images and YouTube support via search bar. To get a feel of the PicLens browser plug-in, check out the demo video above.
