Remember the Opera Mobile 9.5 browser? It got caught up in some snags that delays were inevitable. It was previously reviewed by ZDNet’s The Mobile Gadgeteer and was proclaimed superior to iPhone’s Safari.
Peeps lucky enough to get their paws on the HTC Touch Diamond are among the first to take the Opera Mobile 9.5 browser for a spin as it came pre-installed with the new smartphone. Luckily, everyone else could get their fill of the browser by July 15 when the Opera Mobile 9.5 Beta is expected to be made available to the public. According to Opera’s official announcement, it’s going to be compatible with Windows Mobile smartphones—no word yet on whether it’d work with Symbian phones, although Opera promised more details as July 15 nears. Additionally, Opera also mentioned that there will be some differences between the pre-installed version and the Beta version.
