Presented at Computex 2008 in Taiwan is OCZ’s new USB 2.0 flash drive, Diesel. The diminutive flash drive with a compact design employs the use of aluminum chassis for protection. Since OCZ prides itself in manufacturing products geared towards portability, the Diesel offers an option at its base to be attached to either a lanyard or a keyring.
The OCZ Diesel USB 2.0 Flash Drive features true plug and play, compatible with even Mac OS X. The exact figures of the transfer speeds aren’t detailed, but the drive reportedly operates using “mainstream” speeds. The OCZ Diesel USB 2.0 Flash Drive is available in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB storage capacities.
