Nokia has recently released the “Nokia Chat,” an instant messaging client for mobile phones. Posted just last week in the Nokia Beta labs, the app can be used as an ordinary instant messaging client with a PC-like interface, although it has other uses as well.
If you’re chatting with friends, Nokia Chat can also be used to show them your status and tell them your exact location. Nokia Maps could be utilized to share locations with each other; the app could even update your friends that you’ve already arrived at a location you’ve specified on the maps. Nokia Chat could be downloaded and installed directly to your Nokia phone, or downloaded to a computer first before installing on a phone.
