When one says “smart home solution,” it’s easy to guess that it’s about having the capability to control everything in the home with a single device. Imagine having control over all the electronics and basically just everything inside your house using a mobile phone. That’s what Nokia promises with its Home Control Center Solution.
The Nokia Home Control Center Solution is Linux-based and compatible with most of the existing smart home technologies. The solution would be using several wireless systems such as WiFi, GPS, GPRS, GSM and Z-Wave. According to CNET, you can access the system from anywhere even in the car or if you’re at work. So let’s say you left a TV running, you can shut it off even when you’re already outside. Details are not yet clear as of this moment, but expect to hear more about Nokia’s Home Control Center Solution soon.
