Two of the hottest buzzwords on the Internet at this very second are “Nokia N97“. See my previous post on the Nokia N97 Press Release to find out why – the Nokia N97 seems to be made of all the best bits of the best phones.
I’m confused as to why Nokia would release an upgrade to the yet-to-be-sold-in-Oz N96…

Why not? The N96 is a totally different device, more aimed at those wanting to update their N95 with something with a little higher spec.
The N97 is much more of an iPhone competitor and will almost certainly be more expensive than N96. It’s not an upgrade – it’s another rung up the ladder.
