Recent leaks of Nokia E63 details indicated its imminent release and as we’ve expected the lower-end version of the Nokia E71 is now officially official. Like the E71, the Nokia E63 is a candybar smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard except this one takes a step down from the E71’s metallic casing – the chassis is made of plastic.
The chassis notwithstanding, the Nokia E63 will still sport many of the E71’s specs including an HSDPA connection. The price isn’t that very far off from the E71, but since the current global financial situation calls for frugal living, it’s already a huge plus for many people. The Nokia E63 business phone has a key that lets users switch from business to personal mode so you can keep email accounts and other features separate. The Nokia E63 will start shipping in the next few weeks for around AU$386.
