Just recently, Nokia came out with a teaser for a new touch screen phone in the vein of the brand’s navigator type handsets. In an exclusive statement to Cell Passion, a Nokia executive from India confirmed that the largest brand in the mobile phone industry is indeed coming up with more touch screen devices after the Nokia XpressMusic 5800.
According to the report, the new touch screen devices will extend not only to the brand’s communicator line, but also to Nokia’s N-series phones.
“We will have lot of touchscreen phones coming up, including an N-series device very soon.”
In fact, the first touch screen phones after the Nokia XpressMusic 5800 could come before the year ends with more following by early 2009. Although some touch screen phones are expected to be meant for the high-end market, Nokia will also come up with a touch screen device for the masses as well.
