The part-disappointing part-much awaited Nokia 5800 XpressMusic which used to be known as the “Tube” has started shipping in several markets globally. According to Nokia’s press release, the phone is now available in “Russia, Spain, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Finland, among others.”
It wasn’t mentioned whether Australia is included, although I very much doubt it (don’t you think they’d list Australia among those countries if it has indeed been released in Oz?). We got no release date for the country just yet, but we have heard that the phone is being sold at different price points. One example is its US$446 retail price in Taiwan, that’s a bit off from from the US$392 price point Nokia promised with the phone was officially launched.
