Nokia announced a new phone recently, the Nokia 3610 Fold Clamshell Phone, which I’m sure will be just one of Nokia’s many. Nevertheless, there’s a certain feel to it which makes it seem quite classy that’ll make consumers want to pick it up.
According to source, it’s a no-nonsense phone which focuses on basic functionality and gets rid of the frills most new handsets boast of. The Nokia 3610 Fold has a dual display feature; the external one showing time and other bits of info, and the internal one being a 2-inch 262K color screen. A rather rustic 1.3 megapixel camera is in place on the front flap, but I very much doubt anyone would pick up a phone for serious photography anyway. Another notable feature is an expandable microSD card slot for up to 4GB cards. The Nokia 3610 Fold will be available on the third quarter of 2008 for AU$213.
