I first heard about the Noahpad UMPC sometime late last year. While I’ve compared it to the original 7-inch Asus Eee PC before, what caught my interest is the Noahpad’s unusual form. The Noahpad could be folded on itself, like an honest-to-goodness notebook (and I’m not talking about computers here).
In fact, one of Noahpad’s earlier marketing tactics is to show that it could be hung anywhere—from your neck to the nearest clothesline. If you watch the video, you can see that the UMPC’s keypad also acts as the touch trackpad. I surmise there’s a command there somewhere which lets you toggle between the keyboard and the trackpad functions. To better understand what I’m talking about, do watch the video clip of the Noahpad UMPC above.
