
Microsoft Zune
For those of who aren’t on iPods and would rather not get anything made by “that fruit company,” here’s an option: Microsoft has officially announced the 120GB Zune. The improved storage capacity’s just one of Microsoft’s new offerings.
The hard drive version of Zune will be available in the 120GB variant, while the flash version will be available in 8GB and 16GB. Aside from the new hardware, a software upgrade will give the Zune a list of new features including but not limited to wireless sharing, audiobooks support, and new games. Also, starting September 16, those who opted to purchase Zune Pass will get to download music wirelessy through WiFi hotspots directly on their Zune players.
The new 120GB Microsoft Zune player is priced at US$249.99, while the flash version 16GB is $199.00, and the 8GB is $149.99.
