Australia loves the MSI Wind. At least the top tech magazines do, awarding the diminutive netbook more than just a few recommendations, putting it ahead of its competitors. It was a winner before anybody awarded it anything, but I’m sure MSI’s sticking its proverbial tongue out at the other netbooks in the market.
Among the big-name mags backing the MSI Wind up are PC User, APC, CNET AU and PC World. Let’s check out what they’re saying about the MSI Wind, shall we?
“Wind has room enough for a decent keyboard-larger than anything ASUS or Pioneer has at this price. The best low cost ultraportable we’ve seen so far.”
PC USER September 2008“The screen itself is surprisingly good with clear colour reproduction and a good brightness level….The wind’s keyboard feels like a bit more finger room than Eee PC’s, it is quite comfortable to type on….Overall opinion of Wind? It’s good work!”
APC August 2008“This is one of the best mini laptops so far — it’s comfortable to use, has a good display and it’s affordable. ”
7th of July 2008 published on C|NET“It was responsive in our tests, and it has plenty of storage and a large screen. Most importantly, its battery lasts a long time.”
24th of July 2008 published on PC World
Great! But what’s important is what real users think. Care to share with us your experience with MSI Wind, so far? Is it a dream come true or have you had any nightmarish incidents with it? Share your thoughts in the comments!
