We’ve known about it for quite a while, and now Motorola announced the launch of its new MOTOROKR EQ5 Portable Wireless Speaker. It might not be evident based on the photo due to lack of perspective, but this speaker’s actually thin enough to be slipped in one’s pocket.
The MOTOROKR EQ5 Portable Wireless Speaker is a compact system which boasts high-definition stereo sound, perfect for people who love listening to music in their homes and on the road. It can, of course, connect through Bluetooth to mobile phones, media players, and computers, although all gadgets without Bluetooth connectivity could always use the 3.5 mm jack. Aside from being a stereo speaker, it could also be used as a speakerphone which features both noise-reduction and echo-cancellation technologies. The MOTOROKR EQ5 Portable Wireless Speaker has a kickstand for support, and has up to 8 hours of playtime before you need to recharge its non-replaceable batteries via Micro-USB connection.
The device is now available for a retail price of AU$149.95.
