When news about Motorola‘s one last attempt to gain its lost popularity since the era of its RAZR phones came out, I must say I was quite intrigued on what the company would come up with. Would it be so ground-breaking that it could change the face of the industry altogether? The folks at BGR got this blurry picture of, er, a picture of the Motorola Alexander—the one purported to be Motorola’s saving grace.
I know it’s an unclear image of a handset, but I can help but feel, well, underwhelmed. The design, at least on screen for now, isn’t awe-inspiring; but then again, we can’t really tell until we see the handset itself. And, if it does indeed look just like that, Motorola better pack it with features to offset its so-so appearance. The phone would reportedly run on Windows Mobile 6.1, with a camera in the 5 to 8 megapixel range, a-GPS functionality, and 3D graphics rendered by an NVIDIA chip. The Motorola Alexander has a fourth quarter release date, so expect more leaked pics and info soon.
