Remember the Alexander? It’s supposedly Motorola’s last ditch attempt to save its sinking mobile phone division. You can see the Motorola Alexander on the left with the slid out keyboard in the image on the left. The models are yet to be officially confirmed, but they seem quite real judging by these photos.
Unfortunately, I believe the Alexander isn’t as impressive as I’d like it to be form-wise, so I am expecting something to blow me away when it comes to specifications. The other phone on the picture is the Motorola Attila with a 2.8-inch full-faced touch screen panel. Both phones are expected to run on Windows Mobile 6.1. The Alexander had a fourth quarter 2008 launch schedule, so if that’s true, we might be looking at official confirmation this December.
