BlackBerry fans sure have a lot to look forward to! There’s RIM’s first clamshell design, the Pearl 8220 and 8210. And then of course, who could forget RIM’s attempt to unseat the iPhone from its throne, the touchscreen device, BlackBerry Thunder. For those who want something a bit simpler, there’s the BlackBerry Javelin.
It’s one of the 3G-less BlackBerry 9000 variants currently under development by RIM. We’ve seen a lot of the model’s live pics, but these ones detail the phone’s hardware specs. Among the new hardware info gleaned are:
- 512 MHz Processor
- 256 MB onboard flash memory
- Expandable microSD slot
- 480 X 360 high-res HVGA display
- 3.2MP camera
- Micro USB charging/syncing port
Of course, even if the phone doesn’t have 3G connectivity, there’s always WiFi, and for those who want it, GPS.
