Yes the new aluminum MacBook and MacBook Pros look fantastic and they’re definitely enticing that fans are blinded even to the bloated price tags, but it does have its share of problems. Take for example, the recent slew of complaints about its multi-touch glass trackpad.
According to MacRumors, the complaints come in the form of delay in clicks after some time spent using the laptop and clicking on the trackpad.
“Every 50 clicks, my trackpad will stop responding for five to clicks,” reports one poster. “Generally this will resolve itself given a few seconds, and is not directly dependent on number of times the trackpad is clicked while unresponsive.”
So basically, it’s really rather minor, but annoying at the same time. After all, if I’m paying premium for a laptop, I’d expect to get the best. An email allegedly sent by Steve Jobs to a user who emailed him his woes says that a “Software fix coming soon.” And, since dear old Steve is known for answering emails personally, the “rumor” might just be true.
