Logitech V550 Nano
It’s not very often that I find a mouse I actually want to buy, and the Logitech V550 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse is definitely one of them. Although it IS a bit wide at 2.3-inches, it still ends up quite nice anyway. Logitech actually tries to address the issue of portability with this product through the use of a minute, uh, dock.
I say dock but it’s really just a button which you stick on top of your laptop. At the back of the mouse itself, there’s a hole so that you can slot it onto the dock. Not bad if you don’t go around wearing clothes with pockets or carry bags with you. Otherwise, you could just, you know, slip it inside an empty pocket in your suit—I’m pretty sure the method you use to carry the mouse around barely matters anyway. The 2.4GHz mouse is 300 times faster than the usual 27 MHz cordless mice and boasts 18 months of battery life.
The Logitech V550 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse will first be available in the US and Europe by late August for an expected retail price of $59.99.
