Good news for everyone looking for wireless speakers, Logitech has formally announced the launch of the new Z-500 Wireless Notebook Speaker for both Mac and PC systems. Meant for notebooks, the speaker promises high performance wireless technology for the device.
The Logitech Z-500 Wireless Notebook Speaker use premium acoustic drivers for sound quality. For connectivity, instead of Bluetooth, it makes use of an RF wireless USB dongle that we see on other Logitech wireless products such as mice and keyboards. The Logitech Z-500 Wireless Notebook Speaker can work for 12 hours straight on a single charge and will first be available in the USA and in Europe by September for US$199.99.
