Logitech has recently announced two new docks for the iPhone and the iPod. First is the Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus omnidirectional speaker, while the other is the Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime premium alarm clock that’s marketed as a nightstand companion.
The Pure-Fi Express Plus speaker claims to be able to deliver sound quality only expensive home theater systems are capable of. Being omnidirectional means it can transmit sound evenly to all directions. It can run on either electricity or batteries and ships with a remote control that works up to 30 feet away. The Pure-Fi Anytime speaker, on the other hand, was crafted to cater to be placed on people’s bed stands. Wave your hands in front of it and it lights up so you can set the alarm or tinker with it. It also automatically dims when you’re done. Both speakers are expected to be available first in the US and Europe on October for US$100 per.
