LG Renoir Arrives in Oz

Yes, LG’s 8Megapixel camera phone is now available in Oz. LG Renoir is a touch screen phone similar to Viewty but with an 8MP camera rather than a 5MP one. Like the Viewty, it has finger-friendly icons. The camera, on the other hand, boasts features such as xenon flash, smile and face detection, focus assist, and something called “beauty shot” that automatically removes imperfections on one’s face.

The LG Renoir has a 3-inch touch screen display, HSDPA and WiFi, a-GPS, 120 fps video capture capability and a 14mm thickness. The video player can handle even DIVX and XVID files. In short, it’s a feature-rich phone in a slim form factor. The LG Renoir is now reportedly available in Optus, 3 Mobile and Vodafone on contract for an upfront payment of AU$799.
